About the Role

Westin Hotels & Resorts is seeking an AsstDir Sales II to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves assisting in leading the property's segmented sales efforts across various areas such as group, transient, association, and corporate sales. The role focuses on implementing segment sales strategies, achieving revenue goals, and ensuring guest and employee satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

Assist the sales leader in understanding and effectively implementing sales strategies for specific market segments.
Contribute to the development and execution of aggressive solicitation programs aimed at increasing business.
Collaborate with the management team to create and implement sales plans that address revenue, customer needs, and market dynamics.
Support the development and implementation of internal and external promotions.
Provide leadership to maximize revenue potential, including achieving personal booking goals and recommending booking goals for team members.
Participate in sales calls to acquire new business and close deals.
Manage the operational aspects of booked business, including generating proposals, writing contracts, and handling customer correspondence.
Analyze market information using sales systems to achieve property financial goals for rooms and catering.
Assist Revenue Management with accurate six-period projections.
Review sales and catering guest satisfaction results to identify areas for improvement.

Customer Service and Relationship Management

Demonstrate leadership in guest hospitality and customer service, setting a positive example for guest relations.
Engage with guests to gather feedback on product quality and service levels, including during pre- and post-convention meetings.
Empower employees to deliver excellent customer service and provide feedback on service behaviors.
Ensure a customer recognition program is active within the Sales department.
Execute and support the company’s Customer Service Standards and property’s Brand Standards.
Understand customer needs to recommend appropriate features and services, building relationships and loyalty.
Develop and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Collaborate with off-property sales channels to ensure property needs are met and sales efforts are complementary.
Attend customer events, trade shows, and sales missions to maintain and develop key relationships.

Qualifications and Experience

Experience: 0-1 years in a relevant field.
Demonstrated ability to achieve personal booking goals.
Proficiency in analyzing market information and implementing sales strategies.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills for building customer relationships.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the hospitality industry. The role requires active participation in sales activities and collaboration with various departments to ensure compliance with regulations.
