ATC Specialist

About the Role

GDC Middle East is seeking an ATC Specialist to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves serving as an Air Traffic Control Specialist for Control Tower operations and procedures, with potential oversight of assigned ATC specialists. The role requires 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview

The ATC Specialist operates fixed Control Tower facilities and provides positive control for both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft. A key responsibility is supervising and supporting the safe operation, movement, and flight procedures of rotary wing aircraft within a training environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate as a facility-rated controller in the assigned facility.
• Provide On-the-Job Training (OJT) for assigned controllers.
• Work within ICAO, GACA, and MNG Air Traffic Control rules, procedures, and regulations with minimal supervision.
• Potentially hold supervisory responsibility for assigned Air Traffic Control Specialists in the facility during shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience

• 2-5 years of experience in Air Traffic Control.
• Demonstrated ability to operate Control Tower facilities.
• Experience with both rotary and fixed-wing aircraft control.
• Familiarity with ICAO, GACA, and MNG Air Traffic Control regulations.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within a dynamic environment focused on air traffic control operations and training.
