Role Overview: AV Post Sales Engineer

NMK Electronics Trading is seeking an AV Post Sales Engineer to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves providing technical support for professional AV solutions after the sale. The engineer will assist customers and system integrators with the installation, configuration, commissioning, and maintenance of systems to meet specifications. The position requires 2-5 years of experience and combines hands-on technical expertise with direct customer engagement to resolve issues, deliver training, and ensure reliable system operation and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the technical handover from sales and pre-sales teams, reviewing approved system designs, project requirements, and agreed scopes to support successful implementation.
• Prepare commissioning records, technical reports, troubleshooting guidance, and handover documentation, ensuring accuracy and clarity in all customer communications.
• Coordinate post-sales technical activities for customer AV, video conferencing, and infrastructure projects, collaborating with system integrators and customers to resolve implementation issues within the agreed scope.
• Review Audio-Visual schematics and maintain as-built system documentation and configuration records to support commissioning, troubleshooting, and ongoing maintenance.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, connectivity, and integration issues through remote and on-site support, coordinating with manufacturers on escalations, warranty claims, and repairs as required.
• Support the installation, configuration, testing, and commissioning of AV systems, verifying functionality and performance against approved specifications and supporting customer acceptance and handover.
• Deliver technical support and training post-installation, ensuring customers understand system functionality and achieve optimal performance.
• Collaborate across sales, engineering, and service teams, as well as with manufacturers, to track support cases through resolution, share technical feedback, and improve post-sales service delivery and long-term customer relationships.

Required Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a relevant technical role.
• Demonstrated technical expertise in professional AV solutions.
• Ability to engage with customers and system integrators effectively.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and resolving technical issues related to AV hardware, software, and integration.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves both remote and on-site support, requiring coordination with various internal teams and external partners.
