About the Business Development Specialist Role

Elsewedy Electric Power Systems Projects is seeking a Business Development Specialist to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience and focuses on supporting the company's business development functions through analytical and administrative tasks. The role is integral to enhancing operational efficiency and identifying revenue-generating opportunities.

Core Responsibilities

The Business Development Specialist will provide essential support to segmental and regional Business Development teams. Key duties include maintaining and updating critical databases such as client, vendor, subcontractor, and reference lists to ensure data integrity. The role involves preparing and managing project certifications, TOACs, satisfaction letters, and other commercial documentation. Additionally, the specialist will prepare pre-qualification documents for projects and analyze Instructions to Bidders (ITBs) to identify risks and opportunities, aiding informed bid decision-making.

Key Duties and Contributions

• Supporting Business Development leadership in executing assigned activities.
• Ensuring data accuracy and integrity in various databases.
• Preparing and managing essential commercial and project documentation.
• Facilitating pre-qualification and bidding processes.
• Analyzing tender documents for risk and opportunity assessment.
• Following up on bid bonds and related financial documentation.
• Generating reports and supporting structured data outputs for reporting.
• Providing data insights to assist in pipeline evaluation and opportunity tracking.
• Monitoring KPIs and pipeline activities for performance visibility.
• Collaborating with marketing teams for project pipeline information and event support.
• Supporting HSE and Quality Management System requirements and identifying process improvements.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess a Bachelor's degree in business management or a related discipline. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a related field is required, with an overall experience range of 2 to 4 years expected for this role.

Work Location and Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh. The role involves close collaboration with internal teams and external stakeholders under the guidance of regional Business Development leadership.
