About the Role

Safari Group is seeking a Buyer to join its Procurement team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is designed for a proactive and detail-oriented professional with demonstrated experience in purchasing within the Facilities Management (FM) industry. The successful candidate will be instrumental in managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts, and ensuring the efficient and timely procurement of essential materials and and services.

Role Purpose

The Buyer plays a critical role in optimizing Safari Group's procurement processes. This involves ensuring cost-effectiveness and operational efficiency in acquiring all necessary goods and services for facilities management. The role requires strategic sourcing and diligent vendor management to support the company's operational needs effectively.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the complete procurement process, from initial sourcing to final order completion.
• Evaluate supplier quotations, negotiate pricing, and select the most suitable suppliers based on value and quality.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers and vendors.
• Create, update, and accurately maintain supplier accounts and records.
• Monitor purchase orders, follow up on deliveries, and expedite urgent orders as necessary.
• Verify incoming deliveries and coordinate invoice approvals for timely payment processing.

Qualifications and Experience

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a Buyer, specifically within a Facilities Management (FM) company.
• Proven experience in procurement, sourcing, purchasing, and vendor management within the FM industry.
• Experience with ERP or other dedicated procurement systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications is considered an advantage.

Required Skills

• Strong negotiation skills to secure optimal terms and pricing.
• Excellent communication abilities for effective internal and external interactions.
• Demonstrated capability in supplier relationship management.
• High level of detail orientation and organizational proficiency.

Location and Work Type

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires on-site presence to effectively manage procurement operations and engage with local suppliers and internal teams.
