The Purchasing Buyer Role

Worth Hotels is seeking a Purchasing Buyer to manage essential procurement processes. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Medina, Al Madinah, Saudi Arabia. The role is critical for ensuring the timely and cost-efficient acquisition of goods and services while maintaining high quality standards for hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities

The Purchasing Buyer will be responsible for a range of procurement activities, including:

• Managing overall purchasing processes for the hotel.
• Sourcing and evaluating potential suppliers.
• Requesting and comparing quotations for goods and services.
• Creating and issuing purchase orders.
• Overseeing and nurturing vendor relationships.
• Negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions with suppliers.
• Ensuring the timely delivery of materials and services.
• Maintaining quality standards and cost efficiency in all purchasing activities.
• Collaborating with various hotel departments to understand their specific purchasing needs.
• Analyzing consumption patterns to optimize inventory and purchasing strategies.
• Maintaining accurate purchasing records and comprehensive inventory data.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position should meet the following criteria:

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in purchasing or procurement.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in an on-site capacity in Medina.
