About the Role

Whisper, a leading global production company, is seeking an experienced Camera Operator / Editor to join its team in Saudi Arabia. This is a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract role, based in either Riyadh or Neom depending on project requirements, and is suited for a proactive professional with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate camera equipment on shoots, including setting up lighting and audio.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of composition, framing, light levels, exposure, and camera settings to achieve desired visual outcomes.
• Collaborate with Directors and Producers to explore and implement optimal shooting approaches.
• Provide direct support and guidance to Production Teams and fellow camera operators.
• Transport necessary kit to shoot locations.
• Actively develop skills as an Electronic News Gathering (ENG) operator.
• Perform both offline and online editing using Adobe Premiere Pro.
• Contribute to a team producing a wide range of content for digital and social channels.
• Conduct basic grading and sound mixing tasks.
• Ensure all output meets technical requirements and upholds Quality Control (QC) standards.
• Adhere to Whisper’s editorial, technical, design, accessibility, and Health and Safety policies.
• Monitor developments and trends in the digital space, proposing creative content ideas.
• Represent the company professionally, embodying Whisper’s ethos.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience as a Camera Operator / Editor.
• Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro for both offline and online editing.
• Ability to confidently operate a diverse range of cameras.
• Demonstrated ambition and a proactive approach to work.
• Applications from Saudi nationals are particularly encouraged as part of Whisper’s commitment to local talent development.

Contract and Location Details

• This is a 6-month Fixed-Term Contract.
• The role is based in Saudi Arabia, with potential placement in Riyadh or Neom depending on project needs.
• Working days are Sunday to Thursday.
• The anticipated start date is as soon as possible.
• Remuneration will be discussed based on experience.
