About the Role

stc is seeking a Cash Operations Assistant Manager to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position requires 5-10 years of experience and involves supporting the management of cash operations, bank accounts, and financial reconciliations within the organization.

Role Overview

The role holder is responsible for supporting the management of cash operations, including bank account administration, reconciliations, and maintaining relationships with financial institutions. This position involves liaising with auditors to ensure compliance and generating periodic reports on the status and extent of Cash Operations. All duties must be carried out in strict accordance with stipulated business policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Support daily cash operations activities, including cash positioning, wire transfers, tax payments, foreign exchange transactions, dividends distribution, government charges, collections, roll-over transactions, and strategic investments (Capital Injection, Sub-loans).
• Support and ensure timely and accurate generation of cash-related transactions, banking, and e-banking payments and collections for funds and investment transactions.
• Support the review and validation of the settlement of all treasury transactions.
• Support risk management by directing all transaction approvals to authorized persons.
• Support the management of bank accounts and reconciliations for all banks, excluding collections and non-treasury related accounts.
• Support the management and development of all treasury processes and systems (maintenance and implementation).
• Support all internal groups on banking-related activities and transactions.
• Support ensuring forecasts reconcile with daily treasury activities.
• Support maintaining relationships with Internal Audit with respect to compliance and internal controls management.
• Support processing the issuance of Letters of Guarantee (LGs), Letters of Credit (LCs), and other guarantees and instruments through banks, along with supporting subsidiaries with their transactions.
• Support ensuring all electronic and manual cash transactions are conducted in compliance with policies and procedures.
• Support preparing reports, records, and bookkeeping for all transactions, guarantees, payments, and accounting.
• Support coordinating with the policies & procedure department to develop proper accounting processes for new treasury transactions.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of experience in Cash Operations.
• Prior experience in Cash Operations and maintaining good relations and liaising with banks in a large-scale service-oriented industry is preferred.
• Prior experience within the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) and/or the Middle East region, including knowledge of the regulatory environment and context, is preferred.
