About the Role

Four Points is seeking a dedicated Chef de Partie to join our culinary team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves preparing and cooking a variety of food items, ensuring adherence to established recipes, quality standards, and presentation guidelines. The role is central to maintaining high culinary standards and supporting efficient kitchen operations.

Core Culinary Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to recipes, quality standards, presentation standards, and food preparation checklists.
• Prepare special meals or substitute items as required.
• Regulate the temperature of ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters to ensure proper cooking.
• Manage food thawing processes by pulling items from freezer storage to thaw in the refrigerator.
• Ensure proper portioning, arrangement, and garnishing of all food dishes.
• Prepare cold food items as part of the menu offerings.

Kitchen Operations and Quality Assurance

• Monitor and maintain food logs accurately.
• Oversee the quality and quantity of all food prepared, ensuring consistency.
• Communicate effectively with the Chef regarding excess food items suitable for daily specials.
• Inform Food & Beverage service staff about menu specials and any out-of-stock items.
• Communicate assistance needed during peak periods to maintain smooth operations.
• Ensure adherence to all quality expectations and standards across the kitchen.

Team Collaboration and Professional Conduct

• Assist management in various employee-related tasks, including hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, disciplining, motivating, and coaching; serve as a role model for colleagues.
• Adhere strictly to all company, safety, and security policies and procedures.
• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to the manager promptly.
• Complete all required safety training and certifications.
• Maintain a clean and professional uniform and personal appearance at all times.
• Protect company assets and maintain the confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Anticipate and address guests’ service needs proactively.
• Communicate with colleagues and guests using clear and professional language.
• Develop and maintain positive working relationships with team members, supporting collective goals.
• Listen and respond appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.

Qualifications and Physical Requirements

• A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a culinary role.
• No supervisory experience is required for this position.
• No specific license or certification is mandated.
• Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods.
• Capability to reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
