About the Cisco Asset Manager Role

HCLTech is seeking a Cisco Asset Manager to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role is integral to delivering personalized, consultative Cisco Asset Management services. The primary objective is to provide customers with complete visibility of their Cisco product installed base (IB) across their entire network, enabling proactive management of asset information and effective lifecycle management.

Strategic Contribution and Service Delivery

The Cisco Asset Manager plays a pivotal role in leading the delivery of IB consulting and advisory services to complex accounts, while also supporting other team members to maintain high standards. This position is key to enabling Cisco's recurring revenue business by providing clean, actionable, and renewable IB data. Asset Managers are expected to develop a deep understanding of customer IB, offering meaningful insights, reducing risks, and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Primarily responsible for handling the analytics behind customer inventory and helping to form strategies for optimizing customer experience and Cisco relevance.
  • Accountable for ensuring that the customer's Installed Base (IB) is accurately reflected in terms of contract, location, and service coverage level.
  • Responsible for maintaining customer software inventory metrics on a regular basis, including the creation of IB Baselines, license purchases and consumptions, lifecycle management, and compliance.
  • Compile consumption metrics utilizing telemetry data and purchased history information, mapping hardware and software data for accurate reporting.
  • Accountable for onboarding new customers, initiating documentation, completing business entity research, and performing IB aggregation/reconciliation from disparate data sources.

Data Management and Optimization

  • Present IB Business insights to customers and learn their processes relating to Installed Base data management, recommending changes to improve efficiency.
  • Identify discrepancies and execute processes for managing Move, Add, Change, and Delete (MACD) activities.
  • Translate data into actionable insights with distinct prescriptive guidance on how to optimize the business.
  • Provide ongoing IB maintenance support to customers, including standard and ad hoc reports completed on a pre-determined basis.
  • Prepare for Monthly Business Review/Quarterly Business Review meetings with stakeholders and customers.
  • Engage in cross-functional collaboration to execute tasks and continuously analyze customer Asset Management processes, providing recommendations for improvements and optimization.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree, graduate qualification, or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 2 to 5 years of relevant professional experience is required.

Work Environment

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role involves regular interaction with customers and internal teams, requiring a collaborative approach to achieve program objectives and deliver high standards of service.
