The Role: Civil / Infrastructure Engineer

ARX is seeking a Civil / Infrastructure Engineer for its office in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with over 10 years of experience. The ideal candidate will possess practical engineering judgment to assess site development within a coordinated campus environment. This involves understanding how levels, ground conditions, and external networks impact buildings and access, and identifying constructability issues proactively to prevent delivery constraints. The role requires methodical work through technical submissions and maintaining clear communication with infrastructure specialists and package teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Review site-wide civil and infrastructure designs, including grading, earthworks, pavements, and external works.
• Assess drawings and calculations against design criteria, applicable codes, and client standards.
• Check site levels, tie-ins, and interfaces between external works, buildings, utilities, and the security perimeter.
• Review earthworks and pavement proposals with reference to geotechnical inputs, subgrade assumptions, and drainage requirements.
• Coordinate infrastructure interfaces and corridor constraints with roads, utilities, landscape, and building disciplines.
• Review contractor submittals, method statements, and calculations for consistency with approved design and technical requirements.
• Identify design gaps and constructability concerns, and support the resolution of RFIs and technical queries.
• Participate in drawing and model reviews, verifying that agreed interface actions are reflected in updated documentation.
• Support the Technical Manager with review reports, comment close-out, and escalation of outstanding technical risks.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
• 10+ years of experience in civil and infrastructure design or design review.
• Experience on large campuses, government, or institutional sites.
• Proficiency in Civil 3D or similar software.
• Eligibility for SCE accreditation and ability to meet client security vetting requirements.
• Sound knowledge of earthworks, grading, pavement construction, and external utility and drainage interfaces.
• Ability to interpret geotechnical inputs, coordinated levels, and civil technical submissions, and maintain traceable review records.
• Desirable: KSA project experience.
