About the Role

AECOM is seeking a Civil Inspector to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves overseeing civil engineering projects at various construction sites, ensuring adherence to quality standards, project specifications, and safety regulations. The Civil Inspector serves as a key link between the design team and on-site construction activities, providing technical expertise and problem-solving capabilities to support project success.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct regular site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to approved plans, specifications, and quality standards.
Interpret and analyze construction drawings, blueprints, and technical documents to communicate project requirements to field teams.
Document site conditions, progress reports, and daily activities with accuracy and attention to detail.
Identify and resolve construction-related issues and discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner.
Perform quality control testing and inspections on materials, concrete, soil, and structural elements.
Ensure compliance with safety protocols, environmental regulations, and local building codes throughout all project phases.
Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and project managers to maintain organized workflow and project timelines.
Maintain comprehensive project records, including photographs, measurements, and inspection reports.
Operate and maintain field equipment and instruments used for surveying and testing.
Communicate findings and recommendations to project management and design teams through clear technical reporting.

Qualifications and Experience

A minimum of 10 years of proven experience in a civil engineering field role.
Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles, construction methodologies, and quality assurance standards.
Proficiency in reading and interpreting construction drawings and technical specifications.
Solid understanding of safety protocols and regulatory compliance requirements.
