About the Role

Westin Hotels & Resorts is seeking a dedicated Clerk Reservations to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is integral to managing guest reservations and ensuring a smooth, efficient booking experience for all visitors. The role involves direct interaction with guests and meticulous data management within the reservation system.

Key Responsibilities

• Process all reservation requests, changes, and cancellations received via various communication channels.
• Identify guest reservation needs and accurately determine the appropriate room type.
• Verify the availability of room types and applicable rates.
• Clearly explain guarantee, special rate, and cancellation policies to callers.
• Accommodate and meticulously document all special requests.
• Answer guest inquiries regarding property facilities, services, and room accommodations.
• Apply sales techniques to optimize revenue generation.
• Input and access data efficiently within the reservation system.
• Accurately indicate special room reservation types, such as complimentary rooms, employee discounts, travel agent inspection rates, and wholesale reservations, by inputting the correct code and rate.
• Follow established escalation procedures when addressing guest concerns.

Required Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or *** equivalent.
• Related Work Experience: 0-1 years of experience; no prior related work experience is required.
• Supervisory Experience: No supervisory experience is required for this position.
• License or Certification: None specified.

Work Environment and Physical Requirements

This full-time position operates within the dynamic environment of Westin Hotels & Resorts in Riyadh. The role requires adherence to all company policies and procedures to maintain a high standard of service. Candidates must be able to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. The Clerk Reservations will also perform other reasonable job duties as requested by supervisors.
