CONSULTANT HOME HEALTH CARE

About the Role

King Faisal Specialist Hospital & Research Center (KFSH) in Riyadh is seeking a Consultant, Home Health Care. This full-time position involves the diagnosis and treatment of medical diseases and conditions, alongside providing comprehensive medical care within the Home Health Care field. The role operates in accordance with current medical staff bylaws, rules, regulations, and hospital policies and procedures.

Clinical Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care across all aspects of Home Health Care, adhering to approved clinical privileges.
• Deliver consultations (inpatient and emergency room) upon request, ensuring timely responses within KFSH&RC policy guidelines.
• Ensure timely completion, accuracy, and eligibility of medical records.
• Provide on-call service, maintaining availability and response times in line with hospital policy.
• Perform other assigned clinical responsibilities related to Home Health Care.

Academic Contributions

• Offer orientation, bedside training, and supervision to interns, residents, and fellows as assigned.
• Participate in departmental educational activities and training programs.
• Engage in national and international medical conferences.
• Maintain and enhance professional knowledge and continuing education requirements.

Research Engagement

• Participate in clinical, basic, and translational research projects in accordance with Research Advisory Council Policy. This contributes to advancing knowledge, improving postgraduate education quality, and enhancing KFSH&RC's national and international recognition.

Administrative Duties

• Undertake administrative duties as assigned by the Head of Section or Chairman.
• Participate in all mandatory departmental activities and serve on departmental and hospital committees and other administrative functions as required.
• Assist the department in developing and implementing techniques and practices to maximize resource utilization within the department and across KFSH&RC.
• Adhere to current hospital and medical staff bylaws, relevant rules, regulations, and policies, staying updated on any changes.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience. Specific qualifications will align with the requirements for a Consultant in Home Health Care within a specialized hospital setting.
