Contracts Sr. Specialist at NHC Innovation

NHC Innovation is seeking a Contracts Sr. Specialist to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time role is integral to managing all contract management activities within approved procurement frameworks, ensuring robust governance and the protection of organizational interests across NHCI.

Purpose of the Role

The Contracts Sr. Specialist is responsible for overseeing the full contract lifecycle, from initial drafting and review to execution and closure. This includes ensuring strict compliance with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements, while actively contributing to reporting, risk management, and the continuous improvement of contract processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute contract management activities within approved procurement frameworks and plans, ensuring structured and consistent implementation across the contract lifecycle.
  • Coordinate contract drafting, review, and finalization processes in alignment with legal, regulatory, and organizational requirements.
  • Monitor the use of approved contract templates, terms, and conditions in coordination with Legal Affairs to ensure compliance and standardization.
  • Execute vendor framework agreements by incorporating technical, commercial, and service level requirements in coordination with relevant stakeholders.
  • Coordinate contract variations and amendments by validating requests, assessing impact, and ensuring proper approvals and documentation.
  • Monitor contract renewals and terminations by tracking validity periods, reviewing performance outcomes, and supporting appropriate actions.
  • Coordinate contract-related claims and disputes with Legal Affairs to ensure proper resolution in line with policies and contractual obligations.
  • Perform verification of vendor invoices against contract terms to ensure accuracy and alignment with deliverables and payment conditions.
  • Maintain structured contract records and repositories to ensure traceability, data integrity, and audit readiness.
  • Monitor contract compliance by reviewing approvals, supporting documentation, and adherence to governance requirements.
  • Prepare contract management reports highlighting status, risks, deviations, and financial exposure for decision-making.
  • Coordinate post-contract reviews to capture lessons learned and identify opportunities for process improvement.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Procurement and Supply, Business Administration, Finance, Law, or a related field.
  • 4-6 years of relevant experience in contract management.

Desired Certifications

While not mandatory, candidates with certifications in the following areas are preferred:

  • CIPS (MCIPS)
  • CPSM
  • CSCP
  • WorldCC Contract & Commercial Management – Practitioner or Advanced
