About the Role

Courtyard by Marriott in Riyadh is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to provide essential administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department. This full-time position is suitable for individuals with 0-1 year of experience in a related field.

Key Responsibilities

The Human Resources Coordinator will be responsible for a range of tasks to ensure the smooth functioning of the department. This includes:

  • Establishing and maintaining efficient filing systems for human resources documents.
  • Generating and accurately entering office correspondence using computer systems.
  • Managing the distribution and routing of incoming and outgoing mail.
  • Ordering and tracking necessary supplies and forms for the department's operations.
  • Handling incoming telephone calls, taking messages, and directing inquiries appropriately.
  • Creating and organizing new personnel files for employees.
  • Assisting job applicants with the application process and procedures.
  • Maintaining the application completion area, ensuring it is clean, organized, and accessible, including for individuals with disabilities.

Departmental Support and Confidentiality

This role involves direct interaction with employees and management, requiring a professional and responsive approach. Key duties include:

  • Responding to employee and management inquiries regarding chain and Human Resources programs, policies, and guidelines.
  • Escalating employee relations issues to Human Resources management as needed.
  • Strictly preserving the confidentiality and security of all personnel-related records, files, and hotel information.
  • Accurately maintaining all personnel records and files, including interview documents and I-9 forms.
  • Adhering to and enforcing all chain policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a clean, well-groomed, and professional appearance at all times, including wearing a clean and complete uniform.
  • Disseminating information specific to the brand and hotel with the utmost confidentiality.
  • Protecting all company assets and reporting any accidents, injuries, or unsafe working conditions to management.
  • Greeting and welcoming all guests according to established standards.
  • Using clear and courteous language in all communications, including answering the telephone appropriately.
  • Preparing and correcting documents with accuracy and completeness.
  • Developing positive and constructive professional relationships with peers and collaborating to achieve common goals.
  • Listening to and responding appropriately to the concerns of other employees.
  • Ensuring compliance with all quality requirements and standards.
  • Entering and locating information using computers and/or point-of-sale systems.
  • Performing tasks that require independent movement, lifting, carrying, pushing, and placing objects weighing kg or less.
  • Undertaking any other duties as requested by managers that are consistent with the position.

Qualifications and Requirements

To be considered for this role, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of 1 year of related work experience.
  • No prior supervision experience is required.
  • No specific permits or certifications are mandated for this position.
