Position Overview

The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Company, *** is seeking a Credit Supervisor to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position involves assisting management in reviewing existing and evolving operating and financial issues. The core purpose of this role is to ensure accuracy in all financial figures, postings, and documents, as well as to organize, secure, and maintain financial records, cash, and cash equivalents.

Key Financial Responsibilities

  • Record, store, access, and analyze computerized financial information.
  • Classify, code, and summarize numerical and financial data to compile and maintain financial records, utilizing journals, ledgers, and/or computers.
  • Prepare, maintain, audit, and distribute statistical, financial, accounting, auditing, or payroll reports and tables.
  • Prepare, review, reconcile, and issue bills, invoices, and account statements.
  • Review, reconcile, and process credit card vouchers, advance deposits, overpayments, cancelled reservations, tax exemptions, and voucher invoices (*, Marriott Rewards and gift certificates).
  • Respond to and resolve questions or disputes from Marriott's Shared Service Center/guests, credit card companies, and banks.
  • Conduct credit checks as directed and follow up to resolve past due accounts.
  • Set up, maintain, and manage collections of check guarantee service accounts.

Operational Support and Professional Conduct

  • Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, and motivating employees.
  • Serve as a role model and first point of contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process.
  • Follow all company policies and procedures, maintain confidentiality of proprietary information, and protect company assets.
  • Anticipate and address guests’ service needs.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally, prepare and review written documents accurately, and answer telephones using appropriate etiquette.
  • Develop and maintain positive working relationships with colleagues.
  • Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards.

Required Experience

Candidates for the Credit Supervisor position should possess 0-1 year of relevant experience in a financial or accounting support role. A foundational understanding of financial record-keeping, data management, and credit processes is essential for this role.

Physical Demands and Workplace Expectations

The role requires performing physical tasks such as reading and visually verifying information, standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and moving/lifting objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance. The Credit Supervisor will also perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors, maintaining a commitment to quality and professional standards.
