About Drovox and the Role

Drovox, a Saudi mobility technology company, is seeking a Data Protection Officer (DPO) to join its team in Riyadh. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, suitable for candidates with 0-1 years of experience in data privacy or a related field. The DPO will be central to ensuring robust data privacy and protection across the organization's growing mobility ecosystem.

Role Purpose

The Data Protection Officer will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of data privacy and protection within Drovox. This role involves monitoring compliance with applicable data protection laws and regulations, including Saudi-specific frameworks and relevant international standards. The DPO will play a key part in designing, implementing, and maintaining privacy policies, procedures, and controls, as well as conducting regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate data protection risks across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise internal teams on privacy-by-design practices for new initiatives.
• Review new products and features to assess their data protection impact.
• Manage and respond to data subject requests in accordance with regulations.
• Coordinate and communicate with regulatory authorities as required.
• Collaborate with legal, technology, operations, and customer experience teams to ensure strong privacy governance and secure data handling throughout drovox’s mobility ecosystem.

Qualifications and Experience

• 0-1 years of experience in data protection, privacy, compliance, or a related field.
• Understanding of data protection laws and regulations, including Saudi-specific frameworks and international standards.
• Ability to design, implement, and maintain privacy policies and controls.

Work Environment

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Riyadh, Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role requires close collaboration with various internal departments within Drovox's dynamic mobility technology environment.
