About the Role

DXC Technology is seeking a Digital Operations Lead to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position involves leading a team of software engineers, defining project requirements, and ensuring successful project delivery. The role operates within a collaborative and innovative environment, focusing on strategic alignment and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team of software engineers in the design, development, and delivery of software solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and ensure successful project delivery.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to team members for professional development, including regular one-on-one meetings and performance assessments.
• Contribute to the execution of the software engineering strategy, supporting the alignment of technology with business goals.
• Lead agile development processes, managing sprint planning, execution, and retrospectives.
• Work with architects and senior engineers to ensure high-quality code and design standards.
• Monitor project progress, identifying and addressing any issues that may impact project timelines.
• Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the team.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (*, Computer Science) or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Typically, 7+ years of relevant work experience in the industry.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar software engineering leadership role.
• Proven experience in a managerial capacity, overseeing teams and/or projects.

Essential Skills

• Proficiency in one or more software languages and development methodologies.
• Strong programming and debugging skills.
• Strong communication and team leadership abilities.
• Ability to effectively manage software projects and resources.

Preferred Attributes

• An advanced degree in a related field.
