Role Overview: Director Energy

A&M is seeking to hire a Director Energy with over 10 years of experience in the energy sector, to be based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires a successful track record of value creation, combining operational, consulting, and commercial skills within the Oil & Gas and broader Energy sectors. The Director will work with clients to provide operational, consulting, and industry expertise to management and investors focused on accelerating performance, overcoming challenges, and maximizing value.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage diverse and complex work streams.
• Develop strategic narratives and manage day-to-day client relations.
• Develop and implement forward-looking concepts.
• Support clients in business transformation, performance improvement, organization rightsizing, operational turnaround, and pre- and post-deal support.
• Contribute to growing the practice and broadening routes to market.
• Build a robust plan to generate deal flow and develop a sustainable business.
• Contribute to business development activities, including developing successful pitches and selling implementation work from initial diagnostic phases.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Over 10 years of experience in the energy sector.
• Successful track record of value creation with operational, consulting, and commercial skills.
• Entrepreneurial approach with established networks across the Middle East.
• Demonstrable track record of thought leadership is preferred.
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced, challenging, and unpredictable environments.
• Hands-on and non-hierarchical operator, effective in managing relationships at all levels and across cultures.
