About TransPerfect and the Role

TransPerfect is seeking an eDiscovery Project Coordinator to join its legal technology team. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and is designed for recent graduates with 0-2 years of post-university experience who are looking to start or progress their careers in a growing industry.

Understanding eDiscovery

eDiscovery is a rapidly expanding field within the legal sector, driven by the increasing volume of data in the modern world. This role involves managing and coordinating the completion of eDiscovery projects, which are crucial for corporate litigation and investigations. The process entails feeding vast amounts of data, such as millions of documents and emails, through sophisticated software to cull them into a manageable size for legal review. The work is varied, ranging from bribery matters and patent claims to airline bankruptcies and defamation lawsuits, requiring the ability to leverage technology to uncover critical information within complex data sets.

Key Responsibilities

• Determine appropriate software solutions by analyzing client data to support downstream litigation goals.
• Assist in the culling of data.
• Oversee the entire project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to client-specified parameters.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities concurrently in a fast-paced environment.
• Track delivery schedules, ensure quality assurance, and manage changes in project scope.
• Communicate with clients and proactively propose solutions to enhance their workflow throughout a case.
• Develop industry knowledge to advise clients on optimal workflows for their specific objectives.
• Provide support for web hosting software, addressing client inquiries and performing administrative functions as needed.
• Act as a liaison among clients, digital forensics, data processing, and hosting teams.
• Apply analytical skills to resolve process aberrations.
• Ensure all projects meet both client and industry standards.
• Undertake other special projects or duties as required.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate is a recent graduate with 0-2 years of experience since university, preferably holding a degree in a STEM subject (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths). While a legal background is not required, candidates must possess an analytical mindset, strong communication and time management skills, and a keen interest in data and technology. This role is suited for problem-solver oriented individuals who thrive in intellectually demanding environments.
