flynas, a leading low-cost airline in Saudi Arabia, is seeking a dedicated Financial Analyst to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and involves playing a key role in the company's financial planning and analysis activities.

Role Overview

The Financial Analyst will be responsible for contributing to various financial planning initiatives, ensuring accurate reporting, and supporting strategic financial decisions. This role requires a professional who can manage detailed financial data and provide insightful analysis to support both operational and strategic objectives across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare monthly management reports.
• Contribute to the annual budgeting process.
• Support cost control initiatives.
• Conduct various ad-hoc financial analyses.

Financial Reporting and Detailed Analysis

A significant part of this role involves assisting in the preparation of comprehensive monthly management reports. This includes, but is not limited to, the following key areas:

• Analyzing the company’s financial performance for the month and year-to-date, including variance analysis against budget and prior year figures.
• Reporting on operational Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the current month and year-to-date, with comparisons to budget and prior year.
• Performing deep-dive analysis for all revenue and cost items.
• Assessing route profitability across various market segments, regions, countries, and specific routes.
• Supporting the preparation of monthly departmental reports.

Budgeting and Cost Optimization Initiatives

The Financial Analyst will also play a crucial role in the budget preparation process and contribute to strategic cost transformation efforts. Key activities in this area include:

• Assisting with the overall budget preparation process.
• Collaborating as part of the Cost Transformation Office (CTO) team, working with multiple stakeholders to explore and support the implementation of cost reduction and revenue optimization ideas across all areas of the company.
• Performing diverse ad-hoc analyses, such as cost analysis, revenue analysis, and financial evaluations for new projects.
• Providing requested financial data to internal departments and external parties as needed.

Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate will possess 2-5 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a similar role. Strong analytical skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders are essential for success in this position. The role requires a proactive approach to financial data management and reporting.
