About the Role

alfanar is seeking a Financial Controller to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves overseeing financial planning, analysis, and management within a specific division, ensuring alignment with the organization's overall financial strategy. The Financial Controller will provide financial insights, budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation guidance to support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency within the division.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop financial strategies that support business growth and sustainability, leading budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Monitor key financial metrics and business performance, analyzing variances and recommending actions to improve margins and cost efficiency.
• Provide financial insights for pricing, investments, and operational decisions, building business cases and conducting scenario modeling.
• Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives, ensuring optimal allocation of financial resources across business units.
• Maintain strong internal controls and ensure regulatory compliance, coordinating with audit, tax, and legal teams to manage financial risks.
• Deliver accurate and timely financial reports to leadership, translating complex data into clear, actionable insights.

Qualifications and Experience

• 6-10 years of relevant experience in financial planning, analysis, and management.
• Demonstrated ability to lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning processes.
• Experience in monitoring financial metrics, analyzing variances, and recommending improvements.
• Proficiency in building business cases and conducting scenario modeling.
• Strong understanding of internal controls and regulatory compliance.
