About Gourmena and the Role

Gourmena is a catering company based in Riyadh focused on providing fresh, healthy, and flavorful bakery and food items. The company is committed to using carefully selected ingredients and precise preparation methods to maintain high standards. This is a full-time, on-site position in Riyadh for a Food and Beverage Development role. The position involves contributing to the creation and refinement of menu offerings to align with Gourmena's commitment to quality and taste.

Role Responsibilities

The Food and Beverage Development role is responsible for creating new menu items and enhancing existing recipes. Key duties include collaborating with kitchen staff on food preparation processes, ensuring food quality and presentation meet company standards, and supporting service teams for smooth operations. The role also involves gathering customer feedback to improve offerings and contributing to a positive dining experience.

Core Responsibilities

• Developing new menu items and refining existing recipes.
• Ensuring food offerings meet Gourmena's standards for freshness, health, and taste.
• Collaborating with kitchen staff on preparation processes.
• Monitoring food quality and presentation.
• Gathering customer feedback to inform menu improvements.
• Supporting service teams to ensure efficient operations.

Required Qualifications

• Strong skills in Food Service and Food & Beverage, with a focus on quality, safety, and efficiency.
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills.
• Solid Culinary Skills, including basic cooking techniques, recipe development, and food presentation.
• Experience in menu development, food safety standards, and kitchen operations is beneficial.
• A background in delivery applications such as Jahez, Keeta, and HungerStation, from initial launch to operation (0-1 year experience).
• Relevant education or certification in culinary arts, hospitality, or food and beverage management is an advantage.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time, on-site position located in Riyadh. The role requires the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with diverse teams. Candidates must be able to adapt to the demands of a dynamic kitchen and service setting.
