About the Role

BAE Systems is seeking a dedicated Geospatial Project Manager to oversee the development and implementation of geospatial projects. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role is crucial for ensuring projects are delivered within defined time, cost, and quality parameters to meet organizational objectives. The successful candidate will be expected to work independently and effectively plan and coordinate team activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage the end-to-end development and implementation of geospatial projects.
• Ensure all geospatial projects adhere to strict time, cost, and quality constraints, meeting all organizational requirements.
• Collaborate effectively with other geospatial specialists to facilitate project development and management.
• Apply analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve project-related issues.
• Monitor project progress, identify risks, and report on issues to relevant stakeholders.
• Maintain a comprehensive understanding of current geospatial project management principles and best practices.

Essential Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Geographic Information Systems (GIS) or a related field.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.
• Extensive experience in geospatial information project management roles, typically between 5-10 years.
• Proficiency with project management software, specifically Microsoft Project and ArcGIS Project Management Templates.
• Strong foundational knowledge of geospatial information project management principles and practices.
• Familiarity with geospatial data standards and relevant policies.
• Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with stakeholders and customers.

Work Environment
