About the Health Safety Environment Engineer Role

Midea Shaker Company (MISAC), a joint venture between Midea Residential Air Conditioners, Midea Building Technologies, and Hussein & Al-Hassan G. Shaker Bros. for Modern Trading Co. LTD, is seeking a Health Safety Environment Engineer. This role supports MISAC's objective to establish local manufacturing and sales within the HVAC engineering market in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The company leverages advanced energy-saving technologies to provide efficient, low-carbon HVAC solutions for residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural, and large-scale public facilities.

Key Responsibilities

The Health Safety Environment Engineer will be responsible for:

• Overseeing and supporting daily engineering tasks and project execution.
• Ensuring all operations align with company standards, site safety regulations, and local compliance laws.
• Troubleshooting technical issues and coordinating effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Preparing and maintaining engineering documentation, safety logs, and progress reports.
• Coordinating with government representatives and inspectors during audits or compliance reviews to ensure smooth approvals.
• Investigating any technical or safety anomalies on-site and implementing corrective actions to prevent downtime or hazards.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this position must meet the following criteria:

• Nationality: Saudi National
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or a related field).
• Experience: 0-1 years of relevant experience in an engineering role.
• Professional Registration: Valid registration with the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) is mandatory.
• Certifications: Valid NEBOSH / OSHA certification is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in the following areas is considered a strong advantage:

• Dealing with government authorities and compliance procedures.
