About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Housekeeper-Public Area to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role involves maintaining cleanliness and order across public and employee areas within the facility, ensuring a professional and well-maintained environment for guests and staff.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean public and employee restrooms and showers, glass surfaces, and floor surfaces using designated chemicals, supplies, and equipment.
• Dust surfaces in assigned areas and empty trash containers, ashtrays, and ash urns in public areas.
• Inspect furniture for tears, rips, and stains, reporting any damages or maintenance issues.
• Clean and maintain lights, and post caution signs as necessary to manage traffic flow.
• Contact other departments for urgent repairs and respond promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Identify and report preventative or other maintenance issues in public areas or guest rooms.
• Adhere to all company and safety and security policies and procedures, including reporting maintenance problems, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries.
• Ensure uniform and personal appearance are clean and professional, and maintain confidentiality of proprietary information.
• Welcome and acknowledge guests according to company standards, anticipate and address service needs, and assist individuals with disabilities.
• Communicate professionally with others and support the team in achieving common goals.
• Ensure adherence to quality expectations and standards for all tasks.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to move, lift, carry, and place objects weighing up to 55 pounds without assistance, and in excess of 55 pounds with assistance.
• Capability to push and pull work-related machinery over sloping and uneven surfaces.
• Reach overhead and below the knees, including bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• Visually inspect tools, equipment, or machines to identify defects.
• Grasp, turn, and manipulate objects of varying size and weight, requiring fine motor skills and hand-eye coordination.
• Move through narrow, confined, or elevated spaces, and move up and down a ladder.
• Stand, sit, kneel, or walk for extended periods across an entire work shift.
