About the Role

Amazon is seeking an HR Business Partner to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time, individual contributor role focuses on driving business results through strategic partnerships with leaders and close engagement with employees across all levels. The position requires balancing strategic insight with hands-on execution to manage complex employee matters, enhance leadership capabilities, and improve organizational culture.

Role Context and Objectives

The HR Business Partner will act as a strategic people operations professional, working closely with the country HR leader for Amazon Customer Fulfilment in Saudi Arabia and regional partners. This generalist role requires a broad understanding of all factors impacting the employee experience, Amazon's employer value proposition, and business continuity. The primary focus is on serving HR Operations as the main customer.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead country-wide feedback strategies, including data reviews, roundtables, and pulse mechanisms.
• Navigate complex situations with sound judgment, balancing employee advocacy, compliance, and business impact.
• Implement recognition programs and champion inclusion and belonging initiatives.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders on sensitive people issues and complex decision-making.
• Utilize data analytics to inform people decisions and identify root causes of organizational issues.
• Support organizational change and transformation initiatives.
• Drive standard work excellence and ensure process consistency across the organization.
• Escalate structural, cultural, or systemic risks that impact the employee population.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. The position is an individual contributor role and does not involve managing or leading others.

Work Location and Environment

This role is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, and will be located at one of the company's Riyadh-based warehouses. The team consists of passionate HR professionals from diverse backgrounds who are focused on internal customers and continuous improvement.
