About the Information Technology Business Development Role

Brains Valley Company is seeking an Information Technology Business Development professional to join our team in Riyadh. This full-time, entry-level position is designed for recent Computer Science graduates interested in a career in tech sales and client engagement. The role requires a foundational understanding of technology to effectively communicate with clients and a strong desire to develop business opportunities.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

This position serves as a key liaison between our technical teams and clients. The primary objective is to identify and develop new business opportunities within the IT services and consulting sector. You will be responsible for understanding client needs, contributing to solution development, and fostering client relationships.

  • Research and identify potential clients across various target industries.
  • Initiate contact with prospects via calls, email, LinkedIn, and networking events.
  • Qualify leads and schedule meetings for the senior sales team, with increasing autonomy to manage your own pipeline.
  • Participate in client discovery calls to understand technical requirements and client challenges.
  • Collaborate with engineers and consultants to scope solutions and prepare proposals.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system (Odoo).
  • Assist in the preparation of presentations, quotes, and follow-up communications.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with both prospective and existing clients.

Required Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for this role should possess the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a closely related field.
  • Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Arabic.
  • A genuine interest in sales, client-facing roles, and the business aspects of technology.
  • The ability to comprehend technical concepts and articulate them clearly to non-technical audiences.
  • Self-motivation, strong organizational skills, and comfort in initiating contact with new people.
  • Proficiency with standard office tools such as email, spreadsheets, and presentation software.

Desirable Skills and Experience

While not mandatory, the following would be considered advantageous:

  • Prior internship or project experience in sales, customer support, or a client-facing capacity.
  • Familiarity with core IT services concepts, including cloud computing, networking, software solutions, and cybersecurity.
  • Previous experience using CRM systems such as Odoo, HubSpot, or Salesforce.
