About the IT Administrator Role

Almarai, a leading food and beverage company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced IT Administrator. Founded in 1977, Almarai is the world's largest vertically integrated dairy company and a major player in the MENA region's FMCG market. This full-time position is based in Riyadh and requires a candidate with 2-5 years of relevant experience.

Role Overview and Responsibilities

The IT Administrator will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of a resilient and reliable IT infrastructure to internal customers across assigned geographical areas. This involves maintaining and upgrading existing hardware, communication, and software components. The role also includes implementing additional IT facilities to meet business needs and resolving user issues by troubleshooting malfunctioning infrastructure components.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintaining and upgrading existing IT hardware, communication, and software.
• Implementing new IT facilities to support business requirements.
• Troubleshooting and resolving issues with IT infrastructure components.
• Ensuring the delivery of reliable IT infrastructure services.
• Managing and installing servers.
• Handling a variety of IT-related tasks.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business Systems, or a related field.
• 2 to 5 years of experience in IT administration.
• Experience working within an Oracle environment.
• Exposure to implementing client/server-based applications.
• Familiarity with the ITIL framework.
• Hands-on knowledge of software products used within the Almarai environment.
• Hands-on knowledge of Business Object or similar products.
• Familiarity with standard IT concepts, practices, and procedures.
