About Havelock One Interiors

Havelock One Interiors is a leading turnkey fit-out service provider in the Middle East, established in 1998. The company specializes in interior contracting and the manufacturing of bespoke joinery, metalworks, and sophisticated shop fittings. As a result of expansion within the key growth market of Saudi Arabia, Havelock One Interiors is seeking a Lead Design to join its team in Riyadh for a full-time position.

The Lead Design Role

The Lead Design is responsible for developing designs for various company projects, ensuring unique and well-organized structures. Havelock One Interiors undertakes turnkey fit-out projects across diverse sectors, including Hospitality, Hotels, High-End Residential, Palaces, F&B, Retail, Entertainment, Health, and Education. This role involves driving design initiatives forward within a growing market.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce architectural plans for management and client approval using CAD software and manual drawing techniques.
• Gather necessary measurements, dimensions, and routine calculations for design layouts.
• Rework and modify designs based on feedback from management and clients.
• Interact with other Architects and Designers to exchange ideas and provide support.
• Ensure all vital information and documentation related to designs is recorded and maintained.
• Verify that all layouts and blueprints comply with industry codes and legal standards.
• Collect accurate information regarding design requirements for projects.
• Supervise designing activities to ensure the accuracy of structural plans.
• Maintain contact with clients during building construction to assist in resolving potential design problems.
• Liaise with the Project Manager and all other relevant departments concerning design and engineering scheduling.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in architecture or a relevant field.
• More than 8 years of interior fit-out experience, encompassing design, detailing, joinery, and furniture installation.
• Demonstrated ability to develop projects through the full design process, from concept design to project delivery.

Required Skills and Attributes

• Excellent technical skills, particularly with AutoCAD software.
• Strong creative design capabilities.
• Effective time management skills.
• Excellent calculations and mathematical skills.
• Versatility and adaptability to work on diverse projects across Saudi Arabia.
