Maintenance Engineer / Facilities supervisor Reliability Maintenance Engineering

About the Role

Afaq - Warehouse Branch is seeking a Maintenance Engineer / Facilities Supervisor, Reliability Maintenance Engineering to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring adherence to safety regulations, timely and high-standard preventative maintenance, and achieving high levels of equipment availability through continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Prioritize health and safety best practices in all work, ensuring compliance with all health and safety standards and regulations.
• Develop preventive and predictive maintenance programs for FC assets, including material handling and automation systems.
• Manage daily engineering and soft services, including housekeeping and premises upkeep.
• Oversee EHS and statutory compliance for the FC, including waste management and hazardous waste management as per bylaws, and ensure timely renewal of licenses.
• Oversee day-to-day facility operations, including conveyor system maintenance, and supervise maintenance work and sub-contractors.
• Ensure the implementation of facility systems checks through a computerized maintenance management system.
• Provide technical guidance for MHE and BB maintenance.
• Support technicians by motivating, providing knowledge, and hands-on experience.

Required Experience and Skills

• Experience in installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting relay logic, ladder diagrams, controls components, sensors & scanners, motor starters, relays, limit switches, electronic sensors, servo drives, frequency inverters, linear drives, sorters, and mechanical components (rolls, bearings, belts).
• Ability to act as an ambassador for safety within the team and promote safe working practices across the site.
• Ability to develop and maintain strong working relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Capability to provide constructive feedback to enhance individual performance.
• Ability to prioritize and manage resources effectively under high-pressure conditions.

Work Environment

This role involves working a non-traditional shift pattern, which may include nights and weekends, to support continuous operations at the warehouse facility.
