About the Role

Mitsubishi Electric Saudi Ltd. is seeking an experienced Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor to join its team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the successful implementation and control of maintenance plans for Mitsubishi projects, adhering strictly to allocated budgets, quality standards, and safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

The role involves comprehensive oversight of maintenance operations, including planning, resource management, client engagement, and reporting to ensure operational efficiency and service continuity.

• Plan weekly and monthly maintenance schedules, including the allocation of required manpower for upcoming projects.
• Coordinate with foremen to arrange all necessary tools and materials for technicians.
• Follow up with maintenance clients regarding both old and new contracts to ensure continuous provision of maintenance services.
• Ensure timely requisitions of spare parts to maintain sufficient stock levels.
• Record and issue tools, equipment, and spare parts required for projects.
• Assist clients in understanding required spare parts and identifying the appropriate service type.
• Prepare spare parts quotations and monthly maintenance reports for the maintenance manager's review and action.
• Carry out annual equipment audits and conduct semi-annual physical inventory of spare parts in coordination with the storekeeper.
• Control all maintenance and spare parts manuals, updating them whenever required.

Quality, Safety, and Operational Standards

This position is critical for upholding high standards of quality and safety across all maintenance activities, alongside driving continuous improvement initiatives.

• Re-adjust elevators under maintenance as per Mitsubishi standards.
• Create quality and safety inspection plans, introduce in-process auditing/corrective measures, and conduct quality assurance reviews throughout all project phases.
• Ensure every employee is provided with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and maintain a sufficient amount of protective equipment for ongoing projects.
• Conduct safety awareness sessions on a regular basis or as required.
• Ensure implementation of quality checks for factory and local materials and suggest improvements within quality standards and company policies.
• Conduct audits at job sites to ensure quality work and constantly coordinate with quality control for installation standards and procedures.
• Monitor technicians' activities as per work schedules and quality standards.
• Contribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes, and practices, considering leading practices, business process improvement, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
• Supervise, guide, and assist direct reports to perform their daily activities in accordance with policies and procedures.
• Circulate information to field personnel regarding relevant new techniques in quality assessment of maintenance work.

Required Experience

Candidates must possess a proven track record in elevator maintenance operations.

• Minimum of 4 years of progressive, successful experience in an Elevator Company.

This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, operating within the framework of Mitsubishi Electric Saudi Ltd.
