About the Managed Services Engineering Intern Role

Motorola Solutions is seeking a Managed Services Engineering Intern to support its International Services team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience with mission-critical IT and communication solutions, including software applications, AI, and automation used in command centers. The role involves assisting senior engineers and contributing to the delivery of customer-focused, leading-edge solutions within the Asia, Middle East, and Africa region.

Role Context and Contribution

As part of the Services team, you will contribute to the delivery of on-site support and managed services. The team provides comprehensive solutions encompassing voice, data, and video technologies, primarily serving clients in the public safety government sector and the energy & natural resources industry. This internship is designed for individuals with 0-1 years of experience, offering a foundational understanding of mission-critical systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Support senior engineers by shadowing and learning to troubleshoot mission-critical IT and Radio systems.
• Assist in tracking system performance and documenting the resolution of incidents.
• Collaborate with web, mobile, and middleware teams to understand complex technical workflows.
• Contribute to the preparation of reports for customer meetings, focusing on service availability.
• Learn about the monitoring and maintenance of Service Level Agreements (SLAs).

Qualifications and Requirements

• Recent graduate in Engineering or Computer Science.
• Basic understanding of Networking, IT systems, or Wireless Communications.
• A strong desire to learn mission-critical technologies.
• Proficiency in both English and Arabic is required.
