Deloitte is seeking a Manager - Insurance to join its team in Riyadh. This full-time position requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience to contribute to client engagements and support the firm's mission of making an impact that matters. The role involves applying professional judgment and technical expertise to deliver high-quality audit services within the insurance sector.

Key Responsibilities

As a Manager - Insurance, you will be responsible for a range of critical tasks to ensure successful client engagements. This includes:

• Understanding key industry statistics and entity-specific matters prior to engagement commencement.
• Defining and managing the allocation of responsibilities within the engagement team, including the integration of work performed by experts and specialists.
• Coordinating with management and specialists to ensure timely delivery of key project milestones.
• Tracking work performed, monitoring findings, and following up on their impact across the engagement team.
• Applying guidance materials and professional skepticism in all procedures, evidence gathering, and conclusions.
• Appropriately signing off on work performed and reviewed, ensuring all necessary checklists and procedures are completed and tailored.
• Contributing to comprehensive project plans, leveraging prior knowledge to identify audit priorities and developing contingency plans.
• Preparing and reviewing documentation that anticipates reviewer questions, including conclusions, relevant facts, analysis, and professional judgments.
• Fostering a questioning mindset and professional skepticism within the wider team, identifying key questions to be addressed.
• Documenting objectivity, independence, and continuance decisions, ensuring sufficient inquiries and information capture.
• Verifying that engagement staff possess adequate technical and industry knowledge, providing briefings as needed.

Qualifications and Experience

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following requirements:

• A minimum of 7 years of experience in auditing, preferably with leading professional services firms or large multinational organizations.
• A background in the insurance industry is essential.
• A degree in Accounting or a related field.
• A proven record of successful engagement management.
• Fluency in English (reading, speaking, and writing). Proficiency in Arabic is considered a plus.
• Possession of a CPA, SOCPA, or equivalent professional certification.
