We are seeking a Manager Online Payments to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role requires 5-8 years of experience and involves end-to-end ownership of online payment operations.

The Manager Online Payments will be directly accountable for online payment penetration and the blended cost of acceptance, overseeing commercial terms, cost optimization, product roadmap, and operational reliability.

Key Responsibilities

• Own commercial relationships with PSPs, acquirers, and payment gateways, including negotiating MDR, scheme/interchange pass-through, volume tiers, settlement cycles, and SLAs; manage RFPs and renewals.
• Reduce blended cost of payments through routing optimization, provider mix management, and fee-structure renegotiation, owning the bank charges line.
• Increase online payment penetration versus cash by optimizing checkout conversion, authorization rates, retry and cascading logic, tokenization, card-on-file, wallet, and Apple Pay coverage.
• Lead the payments product roadmap in partnership with Product and Engineering teams, covering prioritization, requirements definition, and post-launch performance tracking.
• Manage payment incident troubleshooting, including failure-code diagnosis, provider escalation, root-cause analysis, and prevention strategies.
• Ensure reconciliation integrity, manage chargeback and dispute handling with deadline tracking, and verify settlement accuracy across entities.
• Maintain regulatory and compliance oversight across KSA and Jordan, adhering to SAMA, PCI-DSS, and local acquiring requirements.
• Report monthly on key metrics such as penetration, authorization rates, cost per transaction, and delivered savings.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• 5 to 8 years of experience in payments, with at least 3 years merchant-side at a high-volume digital business (*, ride-hailing, food delivery, e-commerce, travel, or fintech).
• Demonstrated track record of reducing MDR or cost of acceptance, and of increasing authorization or conversion rates, with quantified outcomes.
• Direct experience negotiating with acquirers and PSPs in KSA, coupled with working knowledge of mada, local acquiring economics, and the KSA PSP landscape.
• Prior work experience with a bank acquirer or PSP from the provider side is preferred.
• Exposure to loyalty or wallet integrations and embedded payment partnerships.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is preferred, and KSA market experience is required.

Skills and Knowledge

• Proficiency in payments mechanics, including MDR decomposition, interchange, 3DS/SCA, tokenization, settlement, and chargeback flows.
• Experience collaborating with Product and Engineering teams on payment integrations, with comfort in API-level discussions without requiring coding.
• Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in MS Excel and dashboarding, with the ability to build business cases for routing or provider changes.
