About the Role: Mechanical Engineer

This full-time Mechanical Engineer position, offered through Career Gulf for the MDSC ENG team in Riyadh, focuses on the whole device assembly for mobile and tablet products. The role involves contributing to the design and development of high-quality devices that meet client and market demands within an innovative and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop mechanical components for mobile and tablet devices, utilizing CAD software to create detailed engineering drawings and specifications that meet product requirements.
• Conduct thorough testing of prototypes to ensure functionality and durability, using various testing methods and equipment to validate design concepts and improve product performance.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical engineers and product managers, to ensure seamless integration of mechanical systems with electronic components.
• Analyze and resolve engineering issues during the manufacturing process, employing problem-solving techniques and root cause analysis to minimize production delays.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the engineering team.
• Assist in the development of assembly processes and documentation, ensuring that manufacturing teams have clear instructions and quality standards to follow.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in materials and manufacturing techniques, applying new knowledge to enhance product design and functionality.
• Mentor junior engineers and interns, sharing expertise and guiding them through complex engineering challenges to develop their skills.
• Contribute to project planning and scheduling, ensuring timely delivery of engineering tasks and alignment with overall project timelines.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates should possess 2-5 years of experience in mechanical engineering, preferably with a focus on product development for mobile and tablet devices. A strong understanding of CAD software, prototype testing, and manufacturing processes is essential. Experience in cross-functional collaboration and problem-solving within an engineering context is also required.

Compensation
