About the Role

MiCloudSW Ltd., an affiliate of Midis Group and the strategic partner for Cloud Software Group across the majority of Africa, Eastern Europe, and the Middle East, is seeking a Network Security Presales Engineer. This full-time position is based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The role combines the responsibilities of a Sales Engineer and a Specialized Solution Architect, requiring both deep technical expertise to configure high-performance architectures and the commercial acumen to align solutions with enterprise business objectives.

Role Purpose and Focus

The successful candidate will serve as the primary technical advisor and subject matter expert (SME) on application delivery and security, with a specific focus on the NetScaler portfolio. Responsibilities include understanding complex customer environments, designing resilient application delivery infrastructures, and articulating the business value of advanced networking, secure access, and application security topologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Solution Architecture & Presales Leadership: Lead technical discovery sessions, architectural workshops, and high-level presentations. Design application delivery, secure remote access, and security topologies tailored to enterprise requirements, specifically featuring NetScaler or equivalent enterprise ADC solutions.
• Proof of Concept (PoC) & Demonstrations: Scope, own, and execute technical deep-dives, custom product demonstrations, and hands-on Proof of Concept evaluations. Validate application delivery capabilities, performance, and features to de-risk the customer's technical decision-making process.
• Competitive Displacement & Migration: Analyze existing customer infrastructures built on legacy platforms (such as F5 BIG-IP, A10 Networks) and design seamless migration strategies to modern, high-performance NetScaler architectures.
• Trusted Advisor Relationship: Build strong, multi-level technical relationships across client organizations, engaging comfortably with Network, Security, and VDI Administrators up to CIOs and CISOs.
• RFP & Proposal Management: Author authoritative technical responses for RFPs, RFIs, and detailed Statements of Work (SoW). Ensure alignment with industry best practices and enterprise-grade networking standards.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in a technical presales, systems engineering, or solution architecture role focused on enterprise networking, application delivery, and security.
• Proven track record of managing and closing complex technical sales cycles featuring NetScaler or equivalent enterprise ADC solutions.
• Relevant industry certifications are highly desirable, such as NetScaler Certified Professional (NCP)/Expert (NCE), F5 Certified Solution Expert (F5-CSE)/Technology Specialist (F5-CTS), or equivalent high-level networking/security certifications (*, CCIE, CCNP).

Required Technical Expertise

• Application Delivery & Load Balancing: Comprehensive, hands-on knowledge of NetScaler ADC (MPX, SDX, VPX) or equivalent enterprise ADC platforms (such as F5 BIG-IP, VMware Avi, or A10 Networks). This includes advanced L4-L7 load balancing, Global Server Load Balancing (GSLB), Content Switching, policy engines (rewrite/responder), and traffic management.
• Application Security & Access: Strong expertise in integrated ADC security suites, including Web Application Firewall (WAF), Bot Management, API Security, DDoS mitigation, and secure remote access/identity solutions (such as NetScaler Gateway, F5 APM, or equivalent AAA/SAML/OAuth topologies).
• Management & Analytics: Experience utilizing centralized management, automation, and analytics platforms (such as NetScaler Console/ADM, F5 BIG-IQ, or similar enterprise management suites) for orchestration and telemetry.
• Core Networking & Hybrid-Cloud: Deep understanding of TCP/IP networking, routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), DNS, IPAM, and hybrid-cloud/multi-cloud networking architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Familiarity with enterprise virtualization and application delivery environments (such as Citrix, Horizon, or modern microservices architectures/Kubernetes ingress controllers) is a significant advantage.
