About the Role

Marriott International is seeking a Night Manager for a full-time position in Riyadh. This role serves as the property Manager on Duty, directing all property operations during the overnight shift. The Night Manager is responsible for ensuring the highest levels of hospitality and service are consistently provided, representing property management in resolving any guest or property-related situations, and personally assisting in issue resolution and task completion.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor and ensure compliance with all Guidelines to Operations.
• Ensure supervisors maintain adequate levels of department supplies and that all employees adhere to grooming standards and proper uniform.
• Direct, monitor, and assist all overnight staff, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Manage all period-end inventories and monitor employee hours.
• Review financial statements, sales, and activity reports to measure productivity, achieve goals, and identify areas for cost reduction and program improvement.
• Assist in the response and resolution of all guest issues, working with the leadership team to implement action plans to prevent reoccurrence.
• Support accounts receivable by assisting in keeping invoices due below 60 days and monitoring timely processing of chargebacks and rebates.
• Administer plans to minimize chargebacks and rebates, and ensure adherence to proper cash handling procedures.

Human Resources Activities

• Promote participation in property safety-related programs and monitor employee attendance.
• Foster teamwork and employee morale, encouraging employee relations through various initiatives.
• Ensure all employees are trained on job-specific aspects, aware of problem-solving resources, and informed of new operational procedures, standards, or programs.
• Provide orientation for new employees and ensure complete knowledge of emergency procedures.
• Facilitate constant communication between employees, supervisors, and management.
• Assist operations managers in processing employee payroll weekly.
• Solicit employee feedback, utilize an open-door policy, and review satisfaction results to address concerns.
• Ensure property policies are administered fairly and consistently, and conduct annual performance appraisals with direct reports.

Qualifications and Requirements

• High school diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional area.
• Alternatively, a 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or a related major, with a minimum of 3 years of experience in guest services, front desk, housekeeping, or a related professional area.
