About SOL Business Solutions and the Role

SOL Business Solutions is seeking an Odoo Functional Consultant to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This is a full-time position dedicated to optimizing business processes through the Odoo platform. The role involves acting as a crucial link between business operations and system functionalities, ensuring seamless integration and efficient workflow management.

Core Function of the Role

The primary objective of this role is to establish comprehensive end-to-end process mapping across all company departments. The consultant will then configure Odoo to accurately reflect these mapped processes, ensuring the system aligns with actual business workflows. This process mapping and Odoo configuration is the central deliverable, not a secondary task, and forms the core of the position's responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish end-to-end process mapping across all company departments and apply these processes within Odoo.
• Translate mapped business processes into Odoo configurations and configure modules comprehensively.
• Conduct thorough testing prior to go-live and maintain current process documentation as changes occur.
• Lead requirement gathering sessions with departments and clients as needed, documenting all decisions.
• Provide support for data migration, user training, and post-go-live issue resolution.
• Identify requirements that necessitate custom development versus those solvable with standard Odoo functionalities.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• Strong understanding of core business processes, including sales, procurement, inventory, finance, and human resources.
• Demonstrated business acumen, including the ability to critically evaluate requirements before implementation.

Experience

Candidates should possess 5 to 10 years of relevant experience in Odoo functional consulting or a similar role.
