About the Role

HanmiGlobal MENA is seeking a Planning and Scheduling Engineer to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is central to ensuring the timely and efficient delivery of projects through expert schedule development, monitoring, and updating. The ideal candidate will possess 5-10 years of relevant experience.

Role Purpose

The Planning and Scheduling Engineer plays a critical role in project success by applying strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. This position involves close coordination with multidisciplinary teams to effectively manage project progress, proactively identify potential risks, and provide essential support for informed decision-making across all project phases.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using industry-standard planning tools.
• Monitor project progress and performance against established planned schedules.
• Identify potential delays and risks, and propose effective mitigation strategies.
• Coordinate with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to gather accurate progress data.
• Prepare regular reports, including progress updates, schedule analysis, and forecasts.
• Conduct critical path analysis and provide recommendations to optimize project timelines.
• Support project management in resource planning and allocation.
• Ensure compliance with project requirements, standards, and contractual obligations.
• Assist in evaluating variations, claims, and extensions of time (EOT).

Experience and Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in a planning and scheduling role.
• Experience working on large-scale projects in the Middle East is considered an advantage.
