Planning & Development Manager

About the Role

Riyadh Cement Company is seeking a Planning & Development Manager to join their team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role involves leading strategic planning and development initiatives to support organizational growth and improvement. The manager will oversee a dedicated team and collaborate with various stakeholders to ensure successful project execution and alignment with company objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives to support organizational growth and development.
• Lead and manage the planning and development team, ensuring effective collaboration and project execution.
• Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for organizational improvement and expansion.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate the successful implementation of planning and development projects.
• Monitor and evaluate project performance against established objectives and key performance indicators.
• Provide guidance and support to departmental leaders and stakeholders in strategic decision-making processes.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Conduct market research and analysis to identify growth opportunities, market trends, and competitive intelligence.
• Develop business cases, feasibility studies, and financial models for potential projects and initiatives.
• Coordinate with external partners, consultants, and regulatory bodies as required.
• Present project updates, findings, and recommendations to senior management and executive teams.
• Foster relationships with key stakeholders and industry partners to support collaboration and knowledge sharing.
• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in planning and development.

Day-to-Day Operations

• Develop and maintain strategic plans and roadmaps for the organization.
• Lead and manage the planning and development team, assigning tasks and overseeing project execution.
• Conduct market research and analysis, gathering data and insights to inform decision-making processes.
• Prepare and present reports, business cases, and project proposals to senior management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and effective communication throughout project lifecycles.
• Monitor project milestones, budgets, and performance metrics, identifying and addressing issues as they arise.
• Provide guidance and support to departmental leaders and stakeholders in strategic planning and decision-making.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact planning and development activities.

Qualifications and Experience

• 5-10 years of relevant experience in planning and development.
• Proven ability to develop and implement strategic plans and initiatives.
• Experience in leading and managing teams.
• Strong analytical and research skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
