About the Pro Rata Technician Role

Marsh is seeking a Pro Rata Technician to join the Client Support Services department in Riyadh. This full-time role involves managing client portfolios and ensuring accurate transactional processing within the reinsurance sector. Role Overview and Responsibilities

As a Pro Rata Technician, you will be instrumental in supporting the client base through precise transactional processing and securing reinsurance recoveries via timely and accurate system entries. This role provides end-to-end responsibility for a client portfolio, offering significant experience working in a technical capacity for a broker. You will collaborate with reinsurance professionals in Saudi Arabia, applying and developing your expertise within a dynamic team.

• Manage an assigned client portfolio, taking full responsibility for technical duties related to client accounts.
• Assist with the collection of funds by working with Market Fiduciary.
• Oversee all Pro Rata post, brokerage receivables, funding, retention, e-trading, ad hoc reporting requests, and all transactional process steps, including renewals.
• Promote, build, and maintain relationships with Brokers, Clients, and Markets.
• Participate in training sessions and contribute to team and departmental troubleshooting for all aspects of reinsurance service processing.

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal candidate will possess experience in insurance or reinsurance premium/claims handling, including managing cash loss or large loss situations, and a strong desire to work within the reinsurance sector. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications, particularly Excel, is essential. A willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structures is required, along with a proven ability to manage workloads effectively and meet expectations.

• Insurance/Reinsurance Premium/Claims experience (*, handling cash loss/large loss).
• Desire to move into the Reinsurance sector.
• Competent Excel skills and proficiency in Microsoft Office Applications.
• Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of technical account structure.
• Demonstrated ability to manage workload and expectations.

Additional Strengths

While not essential, the following experiences would be advantageous:

• Reinsurance Claims experience.
• Experience within Pro Rata.
• Experience working in a technical capacity for a Broker.
