About the Role

Saudi Services For Electro Mechanic Works Co. SSEM is seeking a dedicated Procurement Expeditor to join its Procurement team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time role focuses on ensuring the timely delivery of purchased materials and equipment in alignment with procurement schedules.

Role Context and Objectives

The Procurement Expeditor is responsible for the end-to-end tracking and management of purchase orders, from issuance through to final delivery. The primary objective is to proactively identify and resolve potential delays, ensuring that all materials and equipment are received according to the established procurement timeline.

Key Responsibilities

• Track and follow up on purchase orders from issuance through to delivery.
• Coordinate with suppliers to confirm order acknowledgment, shipping dates, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor multiple open orders simultaneously against the procurement schedule.
• Identify potential delays early and drive corrective action with suppliers and internal teams.
• Negotiate revised delivery dates and expedite urgent or critical orders.
• Update and maintain order data in the ERP system (*, Oracle) and Excel tracking sheets.
• Coordinate with logistics, warehouse, and requesting departments on incoming shipments and documentation.
• Resolve delivery discrepancies such as shortages, damages, or incorrect items.
• Prepare regular reports on order status, delays, and supplier delivery performance.

Experience Requirements

Candidates should possess 5-10 years of relevant experience in procurement expediting or a similar supply chain role.

Work Environment and Location

This is a full-time position based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, within the Procurement team of Saudi Services For Electro Mechanic Works Co. SSEM.
