About the Role

Kafu (Salla), a business in the food industry, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to join its team in Riyadh, Riyadh Province. This full-time role is essential for maintaining efficient purchasing operations, fostering strong supplier relationships, and ensuring reliable inventory availability. The specialist will play a key part in upholding product quality, managing costs, and ensuring smooth operations through disciplined procurement practices and effective use of Odoo ERP.

Role Purpose

The Procurement Specialist will strengthen purchasing operations across supplier sourcing, stock planning, and daily procurement execution. This position involves close collaboration with internal teams and external suppliers to support continuity of supply, enhance purchasing efficiency, and contribute to a well-organized, cost-conscious procurement function within the food industry context.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day procurement and purchasing activities.
• Source and evaluate suppliers, with a strong focus on food products and related supplies.
• Compare prices and identify cost-effective alternatives without compromising quality.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Monitor inventory levels and ensure timely replenishment to avoid stock shortages.
• Coordinate closely with warehouse and operations teams regarding stock requirements.
• Prepare and follow up on purchase orders and supplier deliveries.
• Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records.
• Utilize Odoo ERP for purchasing, inventory tracking, and reporting.
• Identify opportunities to reduce purchasing costs and improve procurement efficiency.

Qualifications and Experience

• Proven experience in procurement, specifically within the food industry.
• Experience range of 3-5 years in a relevant procurement role.
• Proficiency in using Odoo ERP for procurement and inventory management.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Ability to analyze costs and identify efficient purchasing solutions.
