The Role of Product Operations Senior Specialist

The Product Operations Senior Specialist is responsible for bridging product development with operational execution, ensuring that new features are launched effectively and contribute to business value. This position involves close collaboration across various teams to optimize processes, manage projects, and enhance overall platform performance within the food delivery business.

Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to ensure thorough testing of product features prior to go-live.
• Develop and maintain strong stakeholder relationships to effectively manage business requests and expectations.
• Participate in OKR planning and the product discovery process alongside product teams.
• Acquire a comprehensive understanding of business KPIs to deliver tangible business value in partnership with Operations teams (Logistics, Sales, Service).
• Facilitate the go-live of partner vendors on the platform following successful integration.
• Support POS API integrations by working closely with Engineering and Vendor teams.
• Analyze data and performance metrics to inform decisions, track progress, and optimize program outcomes.
• Construct dashboards and reports to provide enhanced insights for teams on ongoing projects.
• Continuously evaluate and improve operational processes, identifying areas for efficiency gains.
• Manage program budgets, including cost forecasting and expense control.
• Provide regular reports and updates to senior management on program progress, key performance indicators, and financial results.
• Stay informed about industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend and implement innovative solutions.

Cross-functional Collaboration and Strategic Input

• Collaborate with diverse teams including product, tech, logistics, commercial, and customer support to ensure alignment and successful execution of initiatives.
• Work with local stakeholders to identify and address operational blockers impacting KPI achievement.
• Engage with central teams and other internal stakeholders to secure necessary support for improving overall operational performance.
• Own and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets for new initiatives or improvements, providing regular updates for internal teams.
• Contribute to the development and execution of the Division’s ABCs and OKRs, ensuring alignment with other functional heads.
• Make critical decisions that support the Division’s strategic and tactical direction.
• Measure and track relevant OKRs and metrics to ensure goal achievement and implement corrective actions when necessary.

Qualifications and Experience

Candidates for the Product Operations Senior Specialist role are required to have 5-10 years of professional experience in a relevant field, demonstrating a strong background in product operations, project management, and cross-functional collaboration within a dynamic environment.
