About NextEra and the Project Manager Role

NextEra is seeking an experienced Project Manager (IT Services Banking Finance & Insurance) to join our team in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This full-time position is dedicated to leading and delivering strategic IT services and banking technology initiatives for our prominent clients within the Banking and Financial Services sector. The role requires a professional with 5-10 years of experience in project management, specifically within the BFSI domain.

Role Overview

The Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing large-scale enterprise application programs, banking technology projects, and managed services engagements. This position involves managing cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery within defined scope, budget, and timelines for leading Banking and Financial Services clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Communicate complex technical concepts and program progress effectively to non-technical audiences.
• Present data governance project updates and recommendations to executive leadership.
• Chair meetings and provide clear, concise reports on project status.
• Provide strategic direction and leadership for project initiatives, ensuring alignment with overall bank strategy.
• Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure program effectiveness and report progress to senior management.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, proactively addressing potential challenges.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement appropriate controls.
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure project stability, scalability, and performance.
• Drive the adoption of best practices for utilizing bank tools to achieve governance objectives.

Required Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related technology field.
• Proven track record of successfully leading projects, particularly within the banking, financial services, or insurance industries.
• 5-10 years of experience in project management.

Essential Skills

• Excellent project management skills, including experience with project planning, risk management, and stakeholder management.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to senior management.
