About the Opportunity

Ethra For Human Resources Consulting is seeking a highly skilled Project Manager to join their team in Riyadh. This full-time role is central to the successful delivery of diverse projects, including construction, heritage restoration, conservation, and renovation initiatives.

Role Overview

The Project Manager is responsible for the comprehensive planning, execution, monitoring, and control of projects, ensuring completion within approved budgets, schedules, quality standards, and contractual requirements. This position acts as the primary point of coordination, fostering effective communication and collaboration among clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and relevant authorities to ensure successful project delivery, robust risk management, and client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop project execution plans, detailed schedules, and resource allocation strategies.
  • Lead project execution from initial mobilization through to final handover.
  • Monitor project progress rigorously against approved baseline schedules.
  • Manage project budgets, implement stringent cost control measures, and oversee cash flow.
  • Coordinate all engineering, procurement, construction, and commissioning activities.
  • Ensure strict compliance with contract requirements, specifications, and design drawings.
  • Manage and maintain strong relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.
  • Conduct regular weekly and monthly project progress review meetings.
  • Review and approve project documentation and technical submissions.
  • Monitor project risks proactively and implement effective mitigation plans.
  • Review Variation Orders, Extension of Time requests, and contractual claims.
  • Ensure full compliance with Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements.
  • Supervise project staff and evaluate team performance.
  • Coordinate procurement activities to meet established project schedules.
  • Prepare comprehensive executive progress reports and management presentations.
  • Ensure timely project completion within approved budgets and quality standards.
  • Support project close-out procedures, testing, commissioning, and final handover.
  • Assist with procurement and vendor communication when required.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related Engineering discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of overall experience in the construction industry.
  • At least 5 years of proven experience as a Project Manager specifically managing construction projects.
  • Previous experience in heritage restoration, conservation, or renovation projects, particularly within Saudi Arabia.
  • Valid Saudi Council of Engineers registration or eligibility to obtain it.
  • Demonstrated strong leadership, communication, planning, and project management skills.

Preferred Attributes

  • Master's Degree in Engineering or Project Management.
  • Experience working with clients such as RCU, Diriyah, or similar governmental entities.
  • PMP Certification.
