About the Role

Spring Health is seeking a Psychotherapist or Psychologist for a contract position in Riyadh. This role involves providing mental health services to clients as part of a comprehensive employer benefit program designed to remove barriers to care. The aim is to connect individuals with high-quality providers for timely and effective treatment through a clinically validated approach combining technology with vetted professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide counseling services to clients, accommodating benefit plans that range from short-term EAP to employer health plans allowing medically necessary sessions.
  • Treat adults who have completed brief, evidence-based online screenings identifying their symptoms and concerns.
  • Maintain an up-to-date availability calendar and complete session documentation promptly within the scheduling system.
  • Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities and interventions tailored to individual client needs.
  • Collaborate with dedicated provider support, licensed clinical care navigation, and administrative care support teams.
  • Deliver culturally competent and empathetic care, adhering to principles of diversity and inclusion.
  • Ideally, be open to treating additional populations such as children, adolescents, couples, or families.

Qualifications and Requirements

  • Must be properly qualified and licensed (if applicable) to practice counseling in Saudi Arabia as a Psychologist, Psychotherapist, or Clinical Psychologist. Applications requiring clinical supervision are not accepted.
  • Maintain active professional liability insurance at market rates in your approved jurisdiction (country of licensure).
  • Possess a minimum of 3 years of independent clinical experience.
  • Qualified and experienced in treating minors (ages 6+).
  • Access to a computer or laptop, comfort with technology, and telehealth competence.
  • Training and experience in evidence-based modalities such as CBT, DBT, EMDR, ACT, CPT.
  • Comfortable providing safety planning and intervention for clients presenting with higher risks.
  • Committed to quality clinical care and eager to expand capabilities and effectiveness by staying informed of client progress and challenges.
  • Ability to work independently while appreciating team support and opportunities for collaboration.

Work Environment and Logistics

This is a contract position with the flexibility to set your own schedule. Work can be performed remotely from any location with a confidential, private space and stable internet. Administrative tasks such as marketing, insurance eligibility checks, fee collection, and claims submission are handled by the company. For those interested in seeing Spring Health members in person, a private office space in Riyadh will be required.
