About the Sales Representative Role

alfanar, a company headquartered in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, is seeking a Sales Representative to join its operations. The company is involved in construction, manufacturing, design, and development across the Middle East and other regions, focusing on electrical, electromechanical, and civil engineering construction, as well as the manufacturing and marketing of electrical construction products and allied engineering services. This full-time position requires 2-5 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field visits to customer sites and active construction locations to support sales efforts and promote alfanar's product range.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with end-users, electricians, contractors, and distributors to achieve sales objectives.
  • Follow up on assigned sites, providing necessary information and ensuring continuous engagement throughout project lifecycles.
  • Process orders, quotations, and contracts accurately in accordance with company standards.
  • Collaborate with distributors and internal departments to ensure the smooth progression of the sales cycle.
  • Support the project sales team when target customers fall within the project sales scope.
  • Distribute promotional materials and sales brochures during field visits to enhance product and service awareness.
  • Assist in the planning and support of sales campaigns, events, and community-level advertising initiatives.
  • Gather market intelligence, including competitor information, product feedback, and construction site status, during field visits.
  • Prepare and maintain sales activity reports, site visit summaries, and customer interaction logs.
  • Serve as a liaison between customers, distributors, and the internal sales team.
  • Follow up with customers regarding orders, deliveries, and product inquiries to ensure satisfaction.
  • Update and maintain accurate data within CRM/ERP systems for effective tracking of leads, opportunities, and sales performance.

Performance and Development Expectations

This role requires the ability to acquire updated soft and technical skills relevant to the job. Candidates should possess a clear vision and plan for their career path and how to achieve it. Performance will be measured by the execution of planned activities to meet operational and development targets within delivery schedules. Effective utilization of resources to achieve objectives within efficient cost and time parameters is expected. Periodic reports detailing deviations and execution of planned tasks will be required. Problem-solving skills are essential, with the ability to escalate complex operational issues when necessary. Ensuring quality requirements through the development of effective quality control processes, including specifications for products, processes, or related activities, is a key aspect of the role. Coordination of well-defined written systems, policies, and procedures, along with seeking automation opportunities, is encouraged. Compliance with related policies, procedures, and work instructions is mandatory. Adherence to relevant safety, quality, and environmental management procedures and controls within the defined work area is crucial for ensuring safety, legislative compliance, and the delivery of high-quality products/services.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Diploma Degree from an Electrical Institute or a relevant field.
  • 2 to 4 years of work experience.
